My name is Carmen van Bruggen. Currently, I am doing research on participatory art projects in the Dutch province of Fryslân (@ARCADIA/University of Groningen). I studied art theory and philosophy. After being graduated, I developed an taught several courses on art, philosophy, design theory and cultural heritage at the University of Groningen/UMCG, IE University Madrid and the Amsterdam University of the Arts. Every now and then, I like to write down some reflections on things I see or experience, usually art-related. Those are what you come across, scrolling on my website.
